The Baptistchurch in Vanersborg was founded in 1867 and have had about 1000 members during these years. During one time the church had about 140 members but during the 70 and 80 the members dropped off. In the yearchange 93/94 there were only 18 members left. Even if many people thought that this church was meant to die, it was NOT Gods thought! God had a plan and as a proof of His big Love, Goodness and Mercy, He let something entierly new happen. During the beginning of 1994, people who had never before visited a church started to come to our services. People got saved and baptised, they recevied Jesus Christ in there heart! Since 1994, the Baptistchurch has grown and today we are about 60 members. But we don´t want to stay here. No, we believe and know that God want to do something entierely new. He want salvation for all people and now we will prepare for a harvest that we have never seen before.
